Employment Rates for People With and Without disabilities
2005 data show that people with disabilities in the U.S. are consistently less likely to be working than their non-disabled counterparts. The rate is calculated by dividing the number or people who are employed by the sum of people who are employed, unemployed, and not in the labor force. This data is on Institute for Community Inclusion's Web site, www.communityinclusion.org.
